Kanani Dilcher, M.D.
Family Practice

Education and Training
Dr. Kanani Dilcher’s college years were spent at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington studying premed and psychology. Dr. Dilcher then went on to get her MD at the University of Hawaii’s, John A. Burns School of Medicine. Following medical school, she pursued a rural family medicine residency in Klamath Falls, Oregon thru OHSU. This allowed her to spend several months in Reedsport at both DFHC and Lower Umpqua Hospital. When she graduated, Dr. Dilcher worked at Southern Coos Hospital ER in Bandon, and then Sky Lakes Medical Center as a hospitalist and attending physician for the residents in Klamath Falls. She then went back to Hawaii for a few years to be closer to her family, and worked for Kaiser Hilo Clinic on the Big Island. After gaining this experience, Dr. Dilcher has decided to return to Reedsport and work as a full time family physician. She is excited to be back here and we are excited to have her!
