Greg Shank, M.D.
Surgery
Greg Shank MD, FACS was raised in Guam and West Virginia. He took one year
out from college to volunteer in a small village in Papua, New Guinea. He
graduated from Southern College in Collegedale, Tennessee with a BA in Chemistry
and then attended Loma Linda School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California.
Dr. Shank completed his residency in General Surgery from Robert Packer Hospital
in Sayre, Pennsylvania, in 2004. For five years after residency, Dr. Shank
worked as the sole surgeon and Medical Director at l’hopital Adventise de Koza
in Koza, Cameroon.
Dr. Shank is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the
American College of Surgeons. He has a special interest in laparoscopic surgery.
In his free time, Dr Shank enjoys waterskiing, racquetball, mountain biking,
backpacking, and most any other outdoor activity. He is married to Audrey Shank,
MD and has a lovely daughter.
