EMT/Paramedic – EMS

Job Summary

The Paramedic/ EMT is responsible for emergency care in the hospital and pre-hospital setting, as is customarily performed by an EMS Personnel certified by the Oregon State Health Division, in a proficient, competent, and qualified manner to any person requiring these services.

Qualification Requirements:

Education and License:

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

Associates degree in EMS, required.  (Paramedics)

Valid Oregon Driver’s License

National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT)

Certifications

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)

Advanced Cardiac Life Support training (Paramedic).

HAZMAT Awareness certification.
