We’re excited to announce Loki as the winner of our Hand Hygiene Mascot Contest! 🧼✨ Loki will be our official mascot, helping to promote the importance of good hand hygiene in preventing the spread of infections. He and his owner, Christina Alexander, who works in our Materials Management department, were proudly presented with a celebrity gift basket which included generous donation from BarkBox and Wondercide.
The contest was open to all employees, inviting them to submit a photo of their pets along with a catchy slogan. After reviewing many amazing submissions, Loki was chosen as our winning pet, and Heather Bailey submitted the winning slogan: “Support the Cause, Wash Your Paws.” 🐾👏
At Lower Umpqua Hospital District, we’re committed to reducing the spread of infections, and this fun initiative is part of our ongoing efforts to remind everyone that proper hand hygiene is one of the best ways to protect ourselves and others. 👐🚫🦠
Stay tuned for more from Loki as we continue to promote safety and cleanliness for all of our patients, staff, and visitors. Together, we can help keep our community healthy and safe! 🌟
